One lesson of forty minutes per week is taught to each of the Vth and VIth forms (Year 6 and above). In the Summer Term the IVth form (Year 5) is also timetabled.

Participation and opinions are encouraged and plenty of lively discussions follows.

The lesson is known as ‘Current Affairs’ but other topics are drawn from citizenship and P.S.H.E. There is an overlap of material with the Science and Scripture Departments.
